Folkuniversitetet is looking for circle leaders in textiles and sewing in Växjö.

Folkuniversitetet is characterized by the idea of providing people with opportunities for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. We are now seeking circle leaders in textiles and sewing for our courses in Växjö starting February 2026. The courses will be scheduled by agreement, mainly in the evenings and on weekends.
We offer courses in pattern construction, crocheting and knitting, garment sewing, mending and upcycling, among others. Other courses in textiles and sewing are also of interest.

We offer courses at beginner level and above. Our participants are adults, and the teaching is characterized by a communicative view of language.

Hourly employment and salary according to agreement.

We are looking for someone with experience teaching adults in sewing. We also prefer that you have knowledge of and experience in pedagogy.

As a teacher at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to tailor your teaching to individuals and bring out each person's potential. It is important that you enjoy conveying knowledge, both linguistically and culturally, and that you see the positive in participants' development.
